Wiccanings

The honoring of the Goddess of Freedom began more than two thousand years ago among the ancient Romans. They called Her, Libertas, the Latin word for Freedom. Libertas signified freedom of action, freedom from restraint, independence, rights, and related forms of personal and social liberty.

Who are the Elders? an essay by Brendan Myers.

In the last few years I've started to hear more and more about Elders in the Pagan community. The people who first joined the movement back in the 60's are in their 60's now (in terms of age, if not a decade!) and many of them have done so much work for the movement in that time...

Adopt an Elder! by Isaac Bonewits

Everyone thinks of adoption as something involving babies or at least children. The idea that an old person might need "adopting" isn't intuitively obvious. In this essay, I hope to explain how and why older Pagans could use some help from the rest of the community.

If you like this web site and you would like to see it continue and keep getting better and better well it will take help from you, the community. The Minnesota Church of the Wicca is a non-profit organization supporting those who wish to participate in and receive information pertaining to the Wiccan Religion. This includes, publishing information on this web site, supporting this web site, (there is a cost of course), informational, open discussion groups, Sabots, Rituals, meeting sights, Circles for healings and special requests, etc., candles, oils, ritual equipment and tools, publishing our newsletter, etc.

That sounds like a lot of stuff and it is. It is not an easy job to keep our church going strong. Donations of most any sort will help tremendously. Without this support from those who support Paganism and Wicca we would slowly fade into the walls again. So please, if you find this important to you send e-mail to Lady Faerie Ariel from the web site and I will get back to you with the information that you will need.
